Crappy croup

How lucky are we! We just got to spend 3 days in the Hospital with Treyson. Monday he was not feeling good at all. (Usually when Trey is sick you wouldn't be able to tell.)He was whiny and he would just sit there and cry telling me he doesn't feel good. During nap time he was breathing hard but I just thought that it was because he was stuffy. Matt came home from work and took one look at Trey and said we need to take him to the doctor. He was breathing fast and having a hard time breathing. So at 7:30 we ended up the doctors. After 3 hours they admitted us to the hospital with croup and we needed to stay the night and get breathing treatments. But no we couldn't just spend 1 night in the hospital we had to stay 3 nights. After many breathing treatments he was getting better. He would do fine during the day but at night he couldn't keep he oxygen above 85 without help. He loved all the attention. His nurses just thought he was the best because he would do whatever they asked without a fight. He had to have some snot sucked out of his nose so they could test it, they were ready for a fight. he did awesome. He even had a cna buy him a treat because she thought that he was so m"precious". Lucky us he now possibly has asthma.

Geez Ranae,
I feel your pain. Ash was in the hospital for 2 nights with the croup when he was 2. It was so sad.
We are so lucky that our kids were born in these times of modern medicine. I was reading about some medical history in school a while back, and it mentioned that hundreds of kids died just from the croup back in the day!

Hope that little E stays well.

I'm so glad he's home. Hopefully everyone will get some good rest now! We'll see ya Saturday if you're up for it. If not, we understand.

Ranae, that is to bad. Hopefully this week will be good and that you can still make it to Cedar. Will keep him in our prayers!
