Happy 9 years

Yesterday was our 9 year anniversary. I can't believe how fast it has gone. In those 9 years we moved 6 times. We have had many jobs good and bad. We have owned 2 different house. 4 different vehicles. Had 2 kids and 1 dog. With that we have had many other happy times. With the good times came some hard times. Loosing 2 wonderful Grandmas within a month of each other, the lose of our first baby and some other minor trials. But with those trials came wonderful blessings and I am so thankful that I had Matt to share it with.

Yesterday Matt and I were actually able to go on a date. This was probably the first actual date that we were able to go on just us since our last anniversary. Ethan is starting to go to Grandma and be happy. So we are hoping that he is growing out of his clingliness (sp?) and we will actually be able to have more dates.

We had so much fun. We meet Matt's mom at her work and dropped the kids off with her and then we got in the car and headed over to the Gateway. When we got in the car Matt had beautiful flowers for me. We went and had dinner, shopped, went to a movie, got ice cream and then went and picked up the kids.

Thanks hun for a great night and a wonderful 9 years. I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with you.
I love you

What a day. This morning I sent the boys out to play in out backyard. I gave them some toys to play in the dirt. I go out to check on them and they are washing off a binky in the faucet. Whats wrong with that? Nothing except Ethan didn't go outside with a binky. He lost a binky outside a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't find it. Guess he found it.

Ethan thinks its fun to sit on the potty and try to go. The other day I was going the bathroom and Ethan comes in and tries to push me off. So I asked him if he wanted to go and immediately he is trying to pull his clothes off. So I take his diaper off and put him on the toilet. He tries to go and then gets off. I put his diaper back on and then he wants to get back on so I put him back on with his clothes on this time and he is trying to push something out. The he says "all done". So today he wants to do it again so Matt puts him on. He tries to go and then says "all done."

Matt is getting ready to go to work so we are all giving him a hug. Trey says "lets be a family" and wants to have a group hug. I guess we are only a family if we are having a group hug.

Trey asks is it Fathers day today. I tell him no and he says "yes it is. it is kids father's day" He then tells me he is going to make him self a present and gets his safety kid scissors and paper and starts cutting the paper.

The the best one of the day. I am sitting on the couch folding laundry and Trey comes up to me and tells me he cut Ethan's hair. It took me a minute to process and I realize he really did. Took a chunk right in front. Right to the scalp. So we had to give Ethan a buzz. and you can still tell. I couldn't help but laugh. It was so funny. I had to hurry and call Matt and my mom. My mom asks me if I was crying or laughing. I tell her I was laughing I couldn't help but laugh. I might have been mad if he did it to a little girl. After I was done laughing we had a good talk about how only mommies and daddies cut hair and not him. Hopefully he will remember this in the future.

My baby is 18 months old

I can't believe how fast time flies. He is such a big kid. He acts older then he is and is a big bully. He is always picking fights with Trey and any one who gets in his way. If he wants to get to something he will push who ever is in his way. One day we went swimming and they had a kid slide. He loved it and kept wanting to go down it head first. He would push the kids out of his way to get down it. This kid has no fear.

He loves to talk. Most of the time you can't understand what he is saying but he is able to say a lot of words.
Mama, Dada, ab-by, wa-er(water), bebe (binki) nana(banana), all on (all gone) r you (where are you), ampa (grandpa), amma (grandma), oes (shoes) bu bye, ereal (cereal), eat, nose, eye, NOW, mine, move, dirtee (dirty) stinky, poopie, yucky. and so many more. He will try to repeat any thing you ask him to say. sometimes he gets it and other time not so good but I think he is doing so good.

He is such a mommies boy and is so shy. He will not go to anybody. When I was in Cedar I ran to the store with my mom and sister in law while Ethan was a sleep. He woke up and cried for 26 mins (my dad timed it.) If you try to talk to him he will get this look on his face and then turn his head so you can't see him. So this week he gets to go to nursery wish me luck. Yea right in my dreams would he actually go to nursery without be. I give it until he is 2 1/2 until he will go by himself.

He loves his stuffed animal that is a koala. The koala's name is Wally and he has to take it every where we go. He got this stuffed animal for his birthday and he recently fell in love with it. I am totally happy with it. I think it is so cute when kids have a special toy or blanket. Trey never did but I am glad Ethan has one

This is for you mom

See what I mean. This kid won't stay off my cabinets. He loves to climb. I thought that my new table being so high would deter him for a while, but I think that only lasted 2 days before he figured out how to climb on them. He will push the chair over to where he wants to get to and then climbs up

Twilight

I haven't blogged for a while because I have been reading Twilight and now I am on to the New moon book. I love them. I protested in reading them but after everyone talking about it I decided I would see what the hype was about. I am so glad I started reading them. I love them and can't put them down. Sus and Keiauni you should read them I promise you will love it.

Thomas the Train

Friday of memorial weekend we went and saw Thomas the Train. The kids loved it, mom and dad not so much. The train ride was to short and not enough activities for the money but the kids had fun. Luckily it wasn't to busy and more on the cooler side then the hot so we lucked out with that. I just can't believe the brats that were there. Parents just didn't care that their kid was fighting and hitting with other kids over a train toy and how spoiled kids were with there parents buying everything Thomas for them. The price were outrageous for the toys. But over all we had a great time just being together as a family
