This year for Thanksgiving we went to my parents house. We were able to see my whole family this weekend. Not all together but close. We had a great time. We ate Thanksgiving dinner in the garage because there were to many of us. Which turned out great. No need to worry if your kids spilled. Then we were able to leave the tables up for the kids to do crafts all weekend. (and they did crafts all weekend). Some of the kids would spend the entire day glue pom poms together and make all sorts of animals. Some even got creative and needed to expand out and use other items for there crafts such as toilet paper.
All the women in my family minus one sister went to the movie while the men were in charge of the children. We were a little concerned because we weren't sure if the house would be left. The men were trying to blow up the stair rail in our house(they were actually trying to get some long lost toys out from our childhood, but the methods were questionable)
The day after Thanksgiving was spent doing the traditional shopping with Bon, Sus and Marsh at Walmart, Roberts and Belles (that pretty much the only good stores they have). Most of the kids slept in the front room and had one big slumber party. Amazingly enough they went to be pretty good.

Saturday we went to the cities Christmas festival so see the trees and Santa.

I was there on saturday too! Too bad I missed ya.
So fun! I used to have a spiral staircase just like that in my apartment in college and my room was a multi-colored shag carpet. Oh the memories...
Bon, Sus, Marsh, and a naughty purse! Fun times as always!
