Ethans Birthday

Guess its time to update my blog. Just been to lazy to want to do it.
Ethan's birthday was Dec 12th. I cant believe he is 4 already. He had a great week. We celebrated for a couple of days. We were in Salt Lake the day before his birthday so we just did his family party while we were there. We went to dinner that night with Ron, Marcelle and LeStar. Since his birthday was on Sunday we didn't do much but had pizza and opened presents. A couple of days later we had his friends over for a little party where we had a great time playing games, opening presents, eating cupcakes and dancing. He had a great time and got spoiled from friends and family.

Ethan is a handful at times but we LOVE him. HE is usually only acts up at home so nobody really sees that side of him. Which is good. He can be such a sweetheart but 2 seconds later can be a pill. I love the way he talks. He has the cutest accent when he says words. Sometimes its hard to understand what he says and then when we find out what he meant it makes it even better. My favorites are back of the yard. Reguarly for regular. Despickled me for Despicable me. Geen for green. and more I cant think of at the moment

Molly's 1

My baby is one. I cant believe how fast time has gone. She is growing up so fast.
She weighs 18 lbs. She is a little peanut compared to the boys but that's the way we like her.
We have so many names for this little girl. I call her Miss, Trey calls her Miss Molly, Matt calls her Molly Moll, baby, Ethan calls her Molly sometime miss molly, others call her Molly Dolly, and other I cant think of.

• She started walking at 11 months
• She had 3 teeth at her 1st birthday and now has 2 more coming through.
• She loves music and to tries to dance
• She loves her brothers
• She still doesn't laugh very much. Ethan is the best at making her laugh and is the one that bugs her the most
• She gets so excited when dad comes home from work
• She loves her bottle:(
• She does a nasally talk
  
• She is a girly girl and mom loves it:)
• She loves baby and baby dolls
  

It was so funny when we gave her her birthday cake. She daintily picked the flowers off and would eat them one by one, finally she got into it and got messy:)
We love this little girl and so glad she is part of our family

Trey turns 6

Trey was so excited for his birthday this year. He had been talking about it for months. We decided to have just a little party for him with some of the neighborhood friends. We wanted it low key so we had friends over for a swim/pizza party. The kids had a great time and his friends spoiled him with presents. My favorite present was the present from his friend Matthew who picked out books from his bookshelf to give to him. I loved it. It was so cute.


The following Sunday we had a family party at Grandma and Grandpa Bates house. We celebrated all August birthdays (there was 5). The 3 kids got there own cake. Matt and I tried making a fondant cake. Its not quite what we wanted but I think turned out great.

Ethan 2nd week of preschool

Ethan started preschool the end of August. We are doing a preschool in our neighborhood with 5 other kids. Each mom takes a turn teaching. I was the first week and was a little crazy and Ethan didn't really want to get ready for school so I waited on taking his picture until he looked cuter:)
He loves preschool. There are 3 boys and 3 girls.He has a transformer back pack for preschool but insisted on bringing this one that day!

Trey goes to 1st grade

Treys first day of 1st grade was July 20th. He was so excited. He loved the idea of going to school all day and eating lunch there. He was a little nervous because he didn't know anyone in his class. He was on D track last year and switched to B track this year. Once he got there he opened up and made friends quickly. He is loving school and doing pretty good too. He gets to eat breakfast and lunch there. He thinks that's pretty awesome. I think within the first week he was already getting girls phone numbers. He has an awesome teacher named Mrs. Hellewell. She is great she does a lot of music to help them learn and that has been great for Trey. Who forgets a lot :)

4th of July

On the 3rd of July we went to Delta and had a great time. We watched the parade and the kids got a ton of candy. After the parade we went to my sisters house and had a bbq with great food and then the kids and brother in law played on the slip and slide. Craig had everyone laughing with Fish out of water, Big foot gone lame an so many more. They were hilarious and was the kids loved him. After that we went to the demolition derby. I love the derby! They had some awesome hits. We left early so we could get home at a decent hour. Thanks Val and Craig we had a great time.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ONLY 2 WEEKS OF SUMMER

Why swim of coarse!! and maybe a little slip and slide, family water fights.

That what we have been doing about every day.

Also a few BBQ and playing with friends and family.

Trey graduates Kindergarten

I cant believe Kindergarten is over. Trey is going to be a 1st grader. I am happy its over because going 1/2 to school especially in the afternoon is a pain, but I can't believe he will be gone all day.

We loved his teacher Mrs Wangberg. She was so great

He made so good friends. One little girl named Makayla was his little girlfriend. She would always tell him that when they got big she was going to marry him. They would always hold hands and always cuddle. It was really funny to see them. We had seen her a couple of places out side of school. I would tell him to go say hi and he would get all shy and say his belly had butterflies and would dare go say hi.

Miss Molly 10 months old

Little Miss Molly is ten months old. Crazy! She is growing up so fast. She thinks she is such a big girl.

• Her first tooth broke through the day she turned 10 months.
• She can stand by herself for about a minute
• She loves her bottles
• She does a funny thing with her hand where she is wiping the side of her shirt when she doesn't want somebody to touch-so funny!!
• Loves moms hair.
• Loves her brothers and they Love her too especially Ethan. Sometimes to much, but she gets him back by pulling his hair or if he is standing by somebody holding her she likes to try and kick him in the head
• She was a whopping 16 pound. Gained almost 2 pounds in a month by switching to formula
• She is still a little peanut
• Has had multiple ear infections.
  
• Loves to clap
• Still wont full on giggle but we do get a few laughs her and there but she will smile a lot
• She is finally getting some hair. It even as some red in it.
  

We love her to death! Feel so blessed to have her in our lives. She does have a little attitude but we still love her to pieces.
