Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend we went to a cousins cabin, which was very nice since it rained the WHOLE time. So we were able to still have an enjoyable weekend and not be hiding out in a tent. Sunday it did stop raining for a little bit so Matt and Randy decided to head to the zip line. They took Ethan with them and he had a blast. In this cabin there was a little slide that was in one of the rooms in the loft that was on the wall. They kids had so much fun playing on it. We also played lots of games and just hung out and visited. It was a nice relaxing weekend.

2 fieldtrips in 2 weeks

Trey went on 2 field trips in 2 weeks. I think they were his favorite ones we went on all year for preschool. The first was to the Air Force Museum and then we went to the fire station.

At the air force museum they were able to look around at all the airplanes and then they were able to play in the play area where they were able to dress like pilots and get in a airplane and train to fly.

At the fire station they learned about fire safety and each one was able to put on a piece of fireman's gear. Then they took a tour of the fire station. Learned about stop, drop and roll and were even able to spray the water from the big fire hose.

We are having...

a little stinker. The baby would not cooperate for anything. My ultrasound was a hour and half long. It took 2 ultrasound techs to try and get anything. The baby would not let them get any good measurements on anything they tried. The baby was folded in half with the legs and arms covering the face. The one tech that had been doing this forever said the she never had to work so hard to get the baby to cooperate. They were able to finally get the measurement they needed but they weren't perfect so I might have to go back and get another ultrasound but the tech said what she could tell was that everything looked OK and that she would bet on it being a Girl. The Dr did do an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and said that it looks like a girl but not to make any big purchases. So for now we are planning on it being a girl but I guess we will wait and see. Hopefully I will get another ultrasound whether or not its through the Dr or the actual ultrasound. So no big purchases for now. Not until we get closer to having the baby so in case it is a boy we can take things back:(

Easter weekend

Last Thursday we went to St George for our annual Easter vacation. We stopped by my parents house for a quick visit and then onto St. George. When we got there we set up our tent and then went to a park for dinner. It was a little windy that night. Friday we went to Sand Hollow and played in the sand. The little kids played in the freezing water. After that we went back to the rv park and went swimming. I wasn't feeling good so I went to lay down. After everyone was done swimming they were getting ready to go eat. I felt like I had to throw up so I went to the bathroom and after that was to sick to go eat, everyone went and ate and I stayed back and got even sicker. (not fun being sick at an rv park where everyone has to share a bathroom. Matt was sweet and got a hotel room for us that night so I could have my own toliet and place to throw up. Next day I felt better went back to the trailer park for there Easter egg hunt where it rained so they had in inside and had setions for each age group where they through candy down and let the kids go wild. After that it was still raining so we played a little pool and the kids wacthed a movie. Then everyone went to Pizza Factory (which is tradition) then the women went shopping. Sunday we went to church and had a little birthday party for our cousin McKay and just hung out. Matt got sick that day but not as bad as me so he slept it off. Monday we all went to breakfast and then some went home and others played around for a while. We left and visited with my mom for a little bit and then went home. It was a to get away and spend time with family (other then being sick)

Big Things happening in our house

Ok so here is a run down I was going to write something better but Ethan has RSV and I don't really want to write more. So Ethan is a big boy. In January we got rid of the Binky which went better then expected (he was ATTACHED ) and now we are working on potty training and he is doing awesome we go most days without accidents but we still have some. He hasn't quite got down the the pooping part or going all night but hey I will take what we can get. and for the big news of all. We will be welcoming baby #3 the begin of Sept. I am 12 weeks now and I must say this has been a not so good pregnancy. Throwing up every day sometimes as much as 5 times is not fun especially with 2 boys. I was able to get on medicine that has helped a ton and now I only throw up once a day which is great (I actually feel relieved and feel like everything is ok as long as I throw up, if I stopped throwing up is when I would be scared) but poor Ethan cries every morning and begs me not to throw up. Now I am getting more energy and can actually feel like I am being a mom and a wife again.

I'm so proud

Tonight is Matt's last class. Then he will have his Bachelors. I am so proud of him. In the two years of going to school. We have moved to a new house, he works two jobs and then goes to school and still finds time to play with the kids. I know it has not been easy on him and I have not always been that helpful. I am so glad that he stuck to it and know that we will be blessed for this. We always talk about how he should have gone back to school before we had kids but I know things happen for a reason and things were suppose to go this way. If things would have been different then yea we may have had more money but then again with the economy we might not have, but for now I am ok being a little poorer.I don't feel poor, I have everything I want. Matt has a great job. (Not everyday do you get a chance to work at the zoo) I have a great house and great friends. I have two wonderful kids and a great supportive family. What more could you want!
Again Matt I love you and I am so proud of you! I know it hasn't been easy but I am looking forward to having more time with you!

Make me pretty

Ethan loves to play in my make up when I am getting ready. He gets mad if I don't let him put some on. His favorite is the eye make up tools and the brushes. When he is all finished he says "Pretty". I let him use the brushes but try to avoid using at actual make up but don't always win that battle. Oh well at least he is still little right?
