This is what we woke up to Saturday morning. I can't believe it has already snowed. What happened to Fall. I was so looking forward to cooler weather but not this cold. I wanted to have nice evenings to get some yard work done, but I guess that is out of the question until next year. Hopefully it will warm up again for a little while longer.

Conference Weekend
Conference weekend we spent in Salt Lake with Matt's family. We went down Saturday afternoon and worked on Matt's parents house. Sunday afternoon we went up the canyon to look at leaves. We were planing on eating dinner at the top of the mountain but once we got up there it was soooo cold. So we only stayed up there for about 15 minutes. We then went down and found a park in the city and had dinner, played on the play ground and just hung out. I was a great time spending time with family.

Worm Hunt
While Matt and I were working on digging the weeds up Trey, Ethan and some neighbor friends decided they were going on a worm hunt as Trey called it and had to find all the worms. They spent close to an hour searching for the worms. Ethan thought it was great to hold them and watch them crawl around.

Last day of soccer
About 2 weeks ago Trey had his last day of soccer. I am kind a sad. I looked forward to Thursday to watch him play. Him and his friend had such a great time together although they got a little wild together. Trey loved his coach and so did we. It was his first time teaching soccer and we thought he did a great job. He was so good with the kids and that made a huge difference.

Grandpa's 90th
Last Sunday was my Grandpa 90th birthday party. (Technically he isn't 90 until November) The family decided to get together to celebrate him a little early. We ended up doing it along with my cousins homecoming and I don't think my Grandpa and an idea that everyone really came for him. Almost all the the family was there which was great because we don't see them very often, so it fun to see them. My Grandpa didn't remember me or most of the family for that matter which is sad but I guess that can happen when your that old and since I really haven't seen him for 2 years. I admire my Grandpa so much. He is such a hard worker. He is a farmer and works from sun up till way past sun down. He has slowed up quite a bit but he is still out there taking care of his cows. He would also do anything for any body. I remember going and spending a week at my grandparents house during the summer and helping him herd cows and change the sprinklers. He never expected me to help and I didn't do a lot but I loved being there with him and watching him work so hard.
I don't know how much longer my Grandpa will be around I am actually surprised that he is still alive, but I am truly grateful to spend that great day with him and see the tears in his eyes when we sang happy birthday to him and then listening to him tell he story of him being born. Grandpa I love you!!!

Colors
This last Saturday we went with some of Matt's family to the Colors concert. Matt and I saw them when we live in St George and loved them. Since then we have been to many concerts. A couple of years ago they retired from singing to have families and real jobs, but have come back the last two years to do a concert. They are so fun to watch and do a great job. They make up song and one even raps to words that they get from the audience. This year was they had some new songs and brought in some other guys to play piano, drum, guitar and bass. They were all amazing and really talented.
