Assult with a play weapon

Ethan loves guns. He walks around the house pretending to shot everything. He makes the sound even. For Christmas Matt got a nerf gun game from his cousin and they boys love to play it, especially Ethan. Ethan has a trigger finger so you better watch out you never know when it is going off and where it might go.

Valentines Day

My Valentine day was not fun at all. Matt had to work both jobs so I saw him for maybe 2 hours yesterday. Enough to come home from job #1 eat a wonderful dinner (tacos) and run to job #2. Where he worked until 9:00. He comes home had to do homework and then we watched Smallville and he goes to bed. Meanwhile while he is at work Trey falls asleep at 6:00 and will not wake up to save me. He decides to wake up at 10:30 and stay awake until 1:00 am. Ethan is not feeling well because he has another ear infection so he is miserable and wont sleep he only had maybe a 45 min nap all day, he was up at 7:30 and would not go to sleep until 11:15 pm. Luckly we celebrate V-day a little early by going (with the kids) to Lonestar a few days earlier. As for gifts last month we were finally able to get a Wii that we have been wanting forever. So that is our V-day gifts, my birthday, mother's day, and father's day gifts. My I do adore my sweet husband for all his hard work that he does so I can stay home and be there for our kids. I love you babes.

My sweet monkey

Man Ethan is a monkey he loves to climb on anything and everything just to get a little higher. He gets into everything. Every morning he has to get into the bathroom cabinet gets out the cleaner and pretends to spray the tub and then gets the scrub brush out and scrub the bathtub. The other day I had the shower on and I had to go help Trey with something I come back to find him in the tub clothes and all. Then he tries to plug things in. I also can't leave him alone for a minute because I come back to toilet paper all over my house. I cant believe what goes thru his mind.

Sweethearts Prom

Last Saturday night some friends from our old ward put together a prom. You could dress up if you wanted. A lot of people dressed up from the 80's but we didn't get the memo until after about that part. I however wore the dress that I wore when Matt and I went to our first dance. It was actually a Valentines dance about 9 years ago. (Man I need some new dresses). Matt found a bright green dress shirt at Ross and wanted to wear it. I was all for that because at least he was a little excited because he was to hip on the idea of going to the dance. (not that he wouldn't have fun- he just can't dance). We had a great time getting to see old friends, especially Jake and Emily. We had such a fun time laughing. Jake really showed off. The great thing about this dance was you could totally be ourselves. No one to impress. We were all friends. We only made it to part of the dance but afterwards Jake and Emily, Jake and Rachele and Matt and I went to Leatherbeys sp? for a treat.

Jake and Emily were great friends ever since we moved into our old ward. We would get together and have a great time playing games. The girls would always win at pictionary. Jake however was mean at spoons. You better watch out for him. I hope that we can get together soon and play games again.

I now realize how much I miss my old ward but then again they didn't start having these couple parties until we moved out. I am so glad we still get invited to go to those get togethers.

Spring teaser

The weather CAN'T make up its mind. Yesterday it felt like spring. Today it's pure winter. I can't believe it. Utah weather is so crazy. Yesterday we went to the zoo and played outside in just jackets. Today was a blizzard. Their's kids that are stuck at school or on a bus for hours and can't go home. Roads are at a stand still. I can't wait until it really is spring, but then again it can still snow. I remember it snowing in June.

Can't live without them

Ethan has to have his ba be (binky). He can't live without it. Now he has to have a blanket also. It doesn't matter the blanket as long as he has one. He sometimes has to carry two or more around. If he sees a blanket he has to have it. I think it is really cute for now but I worry when he gets older. For now I am not going to worry about it and let him have his blankets. If it makes him a happier baby by all means I am going to let him have it.

Poison Control

Hello poison control, my little boy just drank some hand sanitizer. How much? About half a bottle maybe less. he has some on his shirt. The bottle is 2.5 oz. Usually we don't worry unless it is over 8oz. He should be o.k. just what him for symptoms of intoxication.
Yeap that was part of my conversation tonight. I was in the office when Ethan brought me in the bottle of hand sanitizer, with a yucky look on his face. It didn't take me long when I realized what he did. So I hurry and called poison control. My heart was pounding at the thought of what could happen. After all that stuff is full of alcohol. Lucky nothing happened. I just had to watch him. The rest of the night wasn't much better. He was being a terror. He found some Hershey kisses and put the whole thing in his mouth wrapper and all. Now I have chocolate stains all over my carpet. Then he kept pulling things off the shelfs. Him and I were on the couch eating popcorn he leans over and for no reason bites me. He then goes and turns the computer off on Trey and then to top it off he pulled a chair on him. Good thing he is a dang cute kid.
