Friends.

So right now we are having kind of a hard time. We have been in our house for 8 months and have made no real close friends. I feel so bad for Trey. Everyday he asks to play with friends. We have one little boy that lives across the street from us that he plays with once in a while. I have a hard time letting him play with him because his mom doesn't care where he is. Other then that he plays with kids at church and every other week at play group. There are kids around but none that we are really close to. I would love to be able to do things with other women in our ward but just have never been invited to and I am just not one that plans things to do if I don't really know someone. I did get invited to a girls night out tomorrow and I am excited to go to maybe make some friends but that is if Matt gets off early enough. I love where we live I just miss having friend to go do things with. It gets a little hard being with kids all day and having Matt gone all the time.

No Suprise

This is what I get when I don't keep on eye on Ethan. I was working on the computer (yes actually working on the computer not blogging) and I look up and see Ethan coloring on himself. I say his name and he looks at himself and the marker all over him and starts crying. I had to run and grab my camera because although he made a big mess I just had to have a picture. He is such a trouble maker. This morning he found a crayon and colored my bathtub. He has found several pen and luckily when he did try to color on the walls the pens didn't work. Thank goodness that this marker was washable so it was easy to clean up.

The other day I was painting the baseboards in our entry way so Matt put up a gate to keep him from coming down. Well Ethan wasn't going to have it. He started climbing the gate like a chain link fence. When he could climb it high enough he decided he was going to go under it. He only made it half way.

Funny Sleeper

We are redoing the boys room so we had to move theirs beds out. We put their mattress on the floor in the office. Ethan has never been one that just goes to bed on his own. He has to be held to fall asleep and had never really slept good in the crib.(both my boys hate the crib, Trey was in a big bed at 15 months and my mom says I was that way and I was moved out of my crib when I was just over one.) So we were wondering how he was going to do out off his crib. He did great he actually fell asleep on his own. This picture is actually how he fell asleep. It was so cute seeing him kneeling next to Trey. He even slept through the night and woke up happy. He is now back in his crib tonight so we will see how that goes. If he doesn't do good in his crib next week when we get our new carpet and can finish their room we might be moving him to a big boy bed. Wish us luck.

More Trey funnies

The other day I was asleep, Trey had woken up and came in my room. "Mom I have to tell you something in your ear." So he comes over and whispers in my ear "The Holy Ghost says wake up. It time to get up." Then later that day he tells me he wants to watch Scooby Doo and the Holy Ghost." I guess I figured out what he learned in primary.

My photographer

Trey is my little photographer. He loves to get my camera and take pictures of everything. Here are some examples

Assult with a play weapon

Ethan loves guns. He walks around the house pretending to shot everything. He makes the sound even. For Christmas Matt got a nerf gun game from his cousin and they boys love to play it, especially Ethan. Ethan has a trigger finger so you better watch out you never know when it is going off and where it might go.

Valentines Day

My Valentine day was not fun at all. Matt had to work both jobs so I saw him for maybe 2 hours yesterday. Enough to come home from job #1 eat a wonderful dinner (tacos) and run to job #2. Where he worked until 9:00. He comes home had to do homework and then we watched Smallville and he goes to bed. Meanwhile while he is at work Trey falls asleep at 6:00 and will not wake up to save me. He decides to wake up at 10:30 and stay awake until 1:00 am. Ethan is not feeling well because he has another ear infection so he is miserable and wont sleep he only had maybe a 45 min nap all day, he was up at 7:30 and would not go to sleep until 11:15 pm. Luckly we celebrate V-day a little early by going (with the kids) to Lonestar a few days earlier. As for gifts last month we were finally able to get a Wii that we have been wanting forever. So that is our V-day gifts, my birthday, mother's day, and father's day gifts. My I do adore my sweet husband for all his hard work that he does so I can stay home and be there for our kids. I love you babes.
